MEET THE BAND

J’Laire is Milwaukee’s own good music cover band. They don’t do genres, they do quality. Deep cuts next the classics, with their own 'good music' spin. Adele shares a set with Wolfmother. Led Zeppelin segues into Justin Timberlake. With tight musicianship, powerhouse vocals, and pedalboards that just won’t quit, J’Laire is sure to bring the house down and keep the crowds on their feet.

The three original members are coworkers turned bandmates: lead vocalist Claire, a lifelong singer stepping into her first band, guitarist Jed, whose many years of playing has culminated in a basement-turned-practice-space full of gear, and bassist Jesse, who picked up the instrument after deciding Guitar Hero just wasn’t cutting it anymore. After cycling through a series of drummers, they were relieved to find Austin, whose energy and humor behind the kit offers a strong foundation to their sound.
